奧蘭多魔術、奧克拉荷馬雷霆31日歷經二度延長大戰，才以139：136分出勝負，惜敗的魔術教頭Scott Skiles感嘆，要是球員保持專注，早在正規時間就能結束比賽了。
「他們已經沒有暫停了，我們卻完全不知道。」Skiles說。
第4節最後3.9秒，魔術Victor Oladipo飆進高難度三分球，取得3分領先，沒有暫停可用的雷霆只能死馬當活馬醫，未料真的給「西河」Russell Westbrook投進特大號打板三分，隨後引發蝴蝶效應。
「他帶球推進，投進那顆三分球，把比賽追平，而那個時候我們正在慶祝呢。」Skiles說：「這完全令人無法接受，相當不專業，我們必須記取教訓。」
Skiles執教經驗豐富，在鳳凰城太陽、芝加哥公牛、密爾瓦基公鹿都有他的足跡，今年總教練生涯邁入第14年，治軍嚴明正是他的特色。
